The missing caravan of equipment

The party were informed by Lieutenant Bren that a caravan of crucial equipment and armour for the upcoming march to the oriental continent has gone missing.
The party were briefed in Jestle that the military there had recieved warning from a messenger bird that the caravan was in trouble. Because the caravan was so important, their protocols stipulated that the bird was to be released (to fly to Jestle) if the caravan got into any trouble from which it would need assistance.
- Amongst other things, the caravan was carrying 50 suits of magically enchanted armour to be given to elite troops
- This is the most important thing on the caravan
- The caravan is assumed to have been attacked
- The party's mission is to recover it and its cargo
- The pay is 500 pieces of platinum if the caravan is recovered within a fortnight
- If the caravan arrives late then it will be too late and the army will have missed its window to march
- The party will not be paid if it is recovered late
The party have been dispatched to head south and try to find the caravan, following its intended route north from Dekov to Jestle.
[edit] The wagon is found
The party found the wagon near Pladwell in some caves, guarded by orcs. They have now moved the caravan to the south and it is safe in Pladwell, with two guards.
[edit] The party recover the suits of armour
The party caught up with the orcs that had stolen the armour and defeated them near Tirest.
[edit] Completion
The party returned the caravan, along with two soldiers who had been part of its guard complement, to Lieutenant Bren in Jestle.
