The Tranquil Sect is an originally-oriental church following the deity Deranias. With the invasion of the oriental lands by undead, many followers and priests were lost.
The Tranquil Sect promote peace and knowledge above all else. They are not a militant church, although they teach physical fitness and martial prowes as part of their 'purity of body' tenets.

A number of priests have re-established this religion within Argatia, the efforts led by the Hezoru family of Jestle. The newly-built church in Jestle is now considered to be the central/main church of the religion (since the old churches in the orient are inaccessible and presumed destroyed). A few smaller churches of the Tranquil Sect have also begun springing up across Argatia.
